Pathway description: | Treatment with triciribine markedly abolished PKC inhibition-mediated nuclear exportation of FoxO3a;We observed an increase in ROS accumulation, as shown by the rightward shift in DCF and ETH fluorescence in cells due to PKC downregulation;Accumulation of p53 and p21Cip1/WAF1 proteins was also observed in cells treated with G?o6983 or Ad-DN-PKCz, as compared with untreated control cells, suggesting that downregulation of cPKC and aPKC induces senescence through stabilization of p53 and transcriptional activation of p21Cip1/WAF1. |
