Description: | Mitochondrial ROS was subsequently artificially increased while maintaining hypoxic conditions by inhibition of complex III with 100 μM antimycin A (AMA) for 9 days in hCPC-1%. However, a 220% increase in SA-β-gal+ positive cells was observed in hCPC-1% treated with AMA, suggesting mitochondrial ROS can directly drive hCPC senescence. |
