| Description: | For cellular senescence analysis, an SA-βGal assay in NSCLC cells was performed 3 days after irradiation. SA-βGal–positive cells increased significantly in carbon-irradiated A549 cells and in H1299 cells treated with NU7441 and carbon irradiation.p21 expression in A549 cells was consistent with the result of the SA-βGal assay; in contrast, no activation was observed in H1299 cells. |
