| Description: | In HepG2 cells, increased β-galactosidase staining relative to control cells occurred 72 h after treatment with C-1311. SA-β-gal-positive cells continued to increase, and after 144 h of C-1311 exposure, the entire population of HepG2 cells displayed SA-β-gal staining. In addition to increased SA-β-gal staining, these cells had an enlarged and flattened morphology typical of senescent cells. |
