Aging Overview

External factors

External factors: 20A
Aging type: Accelerate
Aging characteristic:
Category: Other
Phenotype: Cervical cancer
Experimental category: HL
Tissue type: --
Cell name: HeLa
PMID: 30759257
Experiment: SA-β-gal activity assay//Western blot
Description: 20A treatment resulted in a dose-dependent increase in the percentage of cells stained for β-galactosidase,suggesting that 20A causes senescence. 20A treatment elicited a significant time-dependent up-regulation of both p21 and p27 proteins in HeLa cells.

Regulatory relationship

Regulatory pathway: ATM
R-EF-Pathway: --
Official symbol(s): ATM
Pathway experiment: SA-β-gal activity assay//Western blot
Pathway description: Loss of ATM significantly reduced senescence induced by 20A, irrespective of the presence or absence of p53 protein .The inhibition of ATM activation by KU55933 prevented 20A-induced accumulation of LC3-II.
