Description: | In fact, the G1 population rose from 57% ± 2 in control cells to 67% ± 4 and 71% ± 0.1 in cells treated for 48 h with 200 and 400 μ g/mL RCE, respectively.After 48 h of treating cells with 200 μ g/mL RCE, 21% of cells expressed SA-β-galctosidase; this proportion of senescent cells nearly doubled after 96 h of treatment.A subpopulation of treated cells exhibited a senescence-like phenotype characterized by cell size increase and flattening shape compared to control cells. |
