Pathway description: | 5AZA-dC-treated cells indeed showed upregulation of p53 and its downstream effector, p21WAF1, in addition to p16INK4a, and exhibited nuclear translocation of the p53 protein. Whereas only 10% 20% of control cells showed nuclear p53, 90% of the 5AZA-dC-treated cells showed strong p53 staining in the nucleus. |
