Pathway description: | Specifically, SIRT1 arbitrary fluorescence units (AFU) were significantly decreased by 48 h treatment with hGluc whereas EgtthGluc cells showed a SIRT1 fluorescence intensity significantly higher than that observed in hGluc cells.These effects were blocked by Egt and, more in details, SIRT6 expression in EgtthGluc cells was 78.373.1 AFU vs 49.273.1 AFU in hGluc cells, whereas NF-κB expression was 48.971.8 AFU vs. 12473.3 AFU in hGluc cells . Moreover, a reduced SIRT6 downregulation and a reduced NF-κB upregulation were observed during hGluc treatment in the presence of Egt (EgtthGluc). |
