Target gene description: | HG exposure for 48?hr markedly reduced the mRNA expressions of all mitochondrial SIRTs. No such changes were seen following incubation with 25? mmol/L L-glucose (osmotic control). We further measured protein levels of these SIRTs using ELISA. In keeping with mRNA levels, protein levels of SIRTs 3, 4, and 5 were also significantly reduced under HG environments. |
