Aging Overview

External factors

External factors: Inauhzin
Aging type: Accelerate
Aging characteristic:
Category: Chemical compounds
Phenotype: Lung cancer
Experimental category: L
Tissue type: --
Cell name: H460
PMID: 22331558
Experiment: SA-β-gal activity assay//Knockdown
Description: INZ induced senescence in H460 or HCT116p53+/+, but not in HCT116p53?/?, cells, though to a much less degree than did Nutlin-3.

Regulatory relationship

Target gene: SIRT1
R-EF-Target gene: Downregulation
Official symbol(s): SIRT1
Target gene experiment: Western blot
Target gene description: INZ inhibited SIRT1 deacetylase activity in a dose‐dependent fashion and effectively inhibited this activity at 3?μM. This inhibition was specific to INZ and its chemical analogue INZ1 (methyl substituted R1), which activated p53 and decreased SIRT1 activity in a dose‐dependent fashion.

Regulatory pathway: p53
R-EF-Pathway: Upregulation
Official symbol(s): TP53
Pathway experiment: Western blot
Pathway description: We found that INZ induced p53 level in a time-dependent manner as early as 6 h post-treatment in both p53-containing H460 and HCT116 cells.
