Description: Increased SA-β-gal activity, decreased proliferative potential, and decreased percentage of S-phase cells were detected in CLOCK–/– hMSCs. CLOCK deficiency resulted in the enhancement of DNA damage response and SASP. we observed downregulated transcription levels of LMNB1 and TMPO and upregulated mRNA expression of the aging markers CDKN1A (P21) and CDKN2A (P16) in CLOCK–/– hMSCs.
