Tissue type: | -- |
Cell name: | AsPC-1,PANC-1 |
Gene ID: | 574452 |
Category: | ncRNA |
Phenotype: | Pancreatic cancer |
Experimental category: | L |
PMID: | 25965392 |
Experiment: | SA-β-gal activity assay//Flow cytometry//PI staining |
Description: | MiR-494 induced the G1-phase arrest of AsPC-1 and PANC-1 cells (measured by propidium iodide (PI) staining and flow cytometry). (f) MiR-494 induced senescence of AsPC-1 and PANC-1 cells (measured by β-Gal staining). As well as increased the proportion of cells in the G1 phase in AsPC-1 (63.3±3.1% vs 73.7±2.5%, P<0.05) and PANC-1 cells (40.5.6±4.2% vs 58.6±3.7%, P<0.01). Meanwhile, the senescence was also increased in AsPC-1 (17.5±2.1% vs 40.7±1.7%, P<0.01) and PANC-1 cells (14.6±3.3% vs 60.9±3.8%, P<0.01). |
Target gene: | C-MYC//SIRT1 |
Official symbol(s): | C-MYC//SIRT1 |
R-AG-Target gene: | Downregulation//Downregulation |
Subcategory: | Unclear |
Target gene experiment: | qRT-PCR//Western blot |
Target gene description: | The qRT-PCR and western blot results confirmed that miR-494 restoration led to the downregulation of c-Myc and SIRT1 expression, whereas the inhibition of miR-494 expression increased c-Myc and SIRT1 expression. |
