Description: Flow cytometry data revealed that a significant increase in the proportion of cells in the G2/M phase and a decrease in the proportion of cells in the S phase in VIM- AS1 suppressed cells compared with the cells treated with scrambled siRNA, which implicated VIM- AS1 inhibition leads to G2/M arrest in colon cancer cells. The result displayed that the proportion of cells with increased β-galactosidase activity was significantly increased in VIM –AS1 inhibited cells in comparison to cells treated with scrambled siRNA.(D) DAPI staining showed that the senescent cells were increased in VIM –AS1 knocking down cells rather than the cells were treated with scrambled siRNA.
