Description: We observed that induced miR-127 expression caused a remarkable inhibition of cell proliferation and increased senescence-like phenotypes with positive staining of senescence-associated-β-galactosidase (SA-β-gal) in both WI-38 and IMR-90 cells.the senescence-like phenotype was associated with up-regulation of p53 and p21 and down-regulation of cyclin D1 (a pattern associated with senescence) in both WI-38 and IMR-90 cells.miR-127 overexpression induced cell cycle arrest at G0/G1phase.
