Target gene description: miR-34a was approximately eightfold upregulated after 3 days of B-RAF activation. ER cells using siRNA and measured miR-34a regulation after B-RAF activation,depletion of ELK1 significantly impaired B-RAF-mediated induction of miR-34a(P<0.04, Student's t-test). Strikingly, miR-34a overexpression resulted in marked downregulation of endogenous MYC protein.
