Description: | Relative to cells transfected with empty vector alone or with MKK6KA, <6% of the MKK6EE-transfected cells formed colonies.MKK6EE expression leads to a near complete loss of BrdUrd-positive cells, consistent with a G1/G0cell cycle arrest.We observed that 40% of MKK6EE-expressing cells are strongly positive for SA-βgal, consistent with a senescent phenotype.At 6 days after transfection ,lipofuscin was markedly increased in fluorescence of MKK6EE-expressing cells compared with controls. |
