Description: | Both inhibitors(p15 ,p16) were equally effective in causing complete growth arrest during a 7-day period.When U251 MG cells infected with Ad5CMVp15 or Ad5CMVp16 were stained for the SA-β-gal marker 8 days p.i., the morphologically changed, enlarged, and flattened cells were strongly positive in contrast to mock-infected or to Ad5CMVlacZ infected cells .In contrast, telomerase activity was efficiently repressed in both Ad5CMVp15- and Ad5CMVp16- infected cells, reaching an undetectable level at day 6. |
