Description: We found that shRNA depletion of SIRT7 from WI38 primary human fibroblasts led to substantial accumulation of senescent cells within days after SIRT7 depletion.Levels of the senescence marker p16 were also increased in the SIRT7-deficient cell cultures (data not shown).
