Description: After 10–13 days in culture, LIN9-depleted cells exhibited a large and flat morphology, a phenotype that is commonly observed in senescent cells.Indeed, staining for senescence-associated β-galactosidase activity, a marker of senescent cells, confirmed senescence after loss of LIN9.Two weeks after deletion of LIN9, MEFs became senescent, as previously described .
