Target gene description: The protein levels of both total p53 and Lys-382-acetylated p53, which is an activation marker for p53 transcriptional activity, were elevated within 4 h and decreased around 32–36 h after UV irradiation. Notably, TLP was significantly elevated around 32–36 h, and depletion of TLP accelerated the decrease of both total p53 and Lys-382-acetylated p53 during these time points . TLP-depleted cells clearly showed the reduction of p53 transcriptional activity in the late phase (at 32–48 h) of the UV response.
