Gene name: | DNAJA4 |
Aging type: | Prevent |
Aging characteristic: |
Tissue type: | -- |
Cell name: | HaCaT |
Experiment: | Flow cytometry//Knockdown//MTS assay |
Description: | 44℃hyperthermia treatment significantly reduced the S phase fraction (P < 0.05) in wild-type HaCaT and NC group cells. By themselves, in the absence of hyperthermia, DNAJA4-deficient cells showed significant reductions in the S phase fraction as compared to both wild-type HaCaT and NC cells (P < 0.05).Results obtained from the MTS assay further substantiated those obtained from flow cytometry, that is,44℃ hyperthermia treated DNAJA4-deficient cells show a significant decrease in cell viability as compared to the other cell groups. Moreover, PDTC pretreatment prior to hyperthermia significantly reduced the apoptosis ratio in wildtype and NC groups, as well as the senescence ratio in DNAJA4-knockout group as compared to hyperthermia treatment alone. |
Regulatory pathway: | NF-κB |
R-AG-Pathway: | -- |
Official symbol(s): | NFKB1 |
Pathway experiment: | qRT-PCR//Western blot |
Pathway description: | The DNAJA4-deficiency group showed increased levels of P65 phosphorylation as compared to the wild-type and NC groups after hyperthermia stimulation. |
