| Description: | Analysis of the cell-cycle profile after PYGL knockdown in U87 cells revealed a higher proportion of cells in G1 phase with concomitant decreases in both S phase and G2/M phase, as compared to control cells.Following PYGL depletion, U87 cells underwent characteristic morphological changes (i.e., enlargement and flattening) that were indicative of cellular senescence.Following PYGL knockdown, we observed an increase in both DEC1 and SA β-gal staining. |
