Description: | Compared with control cells treated with scrambled siRNA,S100A6-depleted cells appeared larger and more "fluffy". Analysis showed that these larger, "fluffy" HUVECs exhibited blue staining characteristic of β-galactosidase expression, with a higher incidence of blue cells occurring upon depletion of S100A6. Quantification revealed an increase in β-galactosidase levels of greater than four-fold upon S100A6 depletion. |
