Target gene description: Western blot analysis using anti-p21 antibodies revealed that in cells expressing HA-ER, p21 expression was barely detectable either in the presence or absence of 4-OHT.The addition of 4-OHT to the HA-ER-dnTbx2-expressing cells led to a dramatic increase in p21 expression consistent with it acting to displace the endogenous Tbx2 from the p21 promoter.with both siRNAs efficiently down-regulating Tbx2 and consequently up-regulating p21 expression comparedwith the control siRNA .
