| Description: | Knockdown of SIRT1 reduced the number and size of SK-Hep-1 cell colonies .Cell-cycle analysis showed that significant G1arrest was observed in SK-Hep-1 and HepG2 cells. We also observed that gene silencing of SIRT1 in SK-Hep1 and HepG2 (p53 wild-type) resulted in cells that were enlarged in size, flattened in shape, and highly positive for SA-β-gal staining. |
