Target gene description: | The activities of both mTORC1 and mTORC2 were increased along with that of AKT during PICS.Indeed, p53 phosphorylation at S15 was abolished in PTEN-depleted cells expressing mTOR KD. We further conducted an immunoprecipitation (IP) assay with anti-p53, and observed endogenous association of mTOR with p53 during PICS . Raptor and Rictor were also found in the p53 immunoprecipitates, indicating that both mTORC1 and mTORC2 physically associated with p53. |
