| Description: | We used a widely known inhibitor of the PIKKs—caffeine20, and analyzed different markers of cell senescence. Higher SA-β-Gal activity and cell granularity, measured by flow cytometry, were observed in dox-treated cells than in control (untreated) ones, while pretreatment with caffeine substantially decreased the activity of SA-β-Gal and cell granularity and preserved the cell proliferation capabilities. |
