Description: | Overexpression of SIRT6 significantly suppressed the percentage of SA-β-gal staining cells after TGF-β1 treatment. In contrast, SIRT6 siRNA dramatically increased the percentage of SA-β-gal staining cells, indicating that TGF-β-induced intrinsic SIRT6 upregulation alone is not sufficient to completely inhibit senescence, but SIRT6 has the ability to antagonize TGF-β-induced cellular senescence in HBEC. |
