Description: Down-regulation of ANT2 by siRNA led to a decreased BrdU incorporation indicating inhibition of cell proliferation .Further decrease in BrdU incorporation was observed after the combined treatment. Although short term knock-down of ANT2 did not enhance senescence associated β-galactosidase staining, enhanced vacuolization, typical of senescent cells, was observed in cells with combined treatment.
